- Porchetta Shop - my new absolute favorite! foccacia sandwiches are so yummy
- Leon's Oyster Shop - delish sea food (and chicken), amazing for both lunch and dinner. And Frosé!

- Five Loaves - yummy sandwich/soup/salad stop
- Square Onion - favorite sandwich in Mt. P since I was a little girl - the Turkey Parm never misses! Great outdoor, casual spot

- Lewis Barbecue: casual spot with best BBQ in Charleston. No reservations required!
- Renzo - more casual Italian stop. You can sit at the bar without a reservation
- Pink Bellies - Vietnamese American. The OG Garlic Noodles is a death row meal... SO GOOD
MT PLEASANT
- Community Table - yummy spot in the I'On neighborhood
- Iggy's Pizza - best pizza in the Charleston area! No reservations required!
- Tavern and Table - best food on Shem Creek
SULLIVAN'S ISLAND
- Obstinate Daughter - one of my top 3 spots - amazing Italian and sea food
- Poe's Tavern - casual burger and sandwich joint. Reservations are not required but you will most likely have to put your name down and wait
- Home Team BBQ - great food and even better drinks. Be careful with the Gamechangers!
- Citrus Club: an up-scale spot to grab a fantastic cocktail - it overlooks our church where the ceremony will take place!
- Island Cabana Bar - casual spot with good bar-food and drinks overlooking the Charleston Harbor and Ravenel Bridge
- Edmond's Oast Brewing Co. - brewery with good food
- Home Team: we love their Gamechangers and Irish Coffees but be careful if you have more than 1
- Henry's: fun bar near market street with a ton of personality.
- Water's Edge Cabana Bar: great spot on Shem Creek in Mt. Pleasant with a great happy hour
